Perfect for any party or get together, these party meatballs come together with everyday ingredients and cook in your slow cooker for an easy appetizer!
Having a party for New Years Eve or the big football game? ย Then I have the perfect appetizer for you! ย These slow cooker sweet party meatballs are absolutely mouthwatering, super easy, and a real crowd-pleaser!
Tis the season for parties! ย As we head into December, the next two months or so are FULL of party opportunities! ย Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, the Super Bowl… the possibilities are endless.
I don’t know about you, but our family tradition is on Christmas Eve we all go to my grandma’s house and we have a meal out of appetizers. ย It’s the best!! ย Then on New Years Eve, which is our daughter’s birthday, we have another appetizer dinner (usually her favorites).
Of course, in between those parties, there is a LOT of cooking and baking to be done for the holidays (and her birthday), so when it comes to the appetizers, I’m ALL about the easy recipes. ย And especially, slow cooker ones!
Like most of you, usually when I’m looking for new recipes, I generally hit up Pinterest or work some Google magic. ย But this recipe comes from my new favorite place to look, my friend Chrissy’s new cookbook, No-Prep Slow Cooker! ย Chrissy blogs over at The Taylor House, and is such a warm, caring person. ย I met her during a press trip last year, and I was thrilled when she asked me to check out her cookbook!
So many slow cooker recipes involve quite a bit of prep work (browning, sautรฉing, etc), and this book is full of recipes that are truly a busy cook’s dream… none of the extra work!
You can find her new book HERE, and I promise, you won’t regret buying it! ย So many great recipes… from these sweet party meatballs, slow cooker jerk chicken, and even homemade bread.
I can’t wait to try more of Chrissy’s recipes, as I love meals where I don’t need to make an extra trip to the store. ย We’ve all been there… it’s time to find a recipe for dinner, and all you can find are recipes that need some special, hard to find ingredient. ย Bummer! ย This book is FULL of recipes that use everyday ingredients… most of which you probably already have.
Pick up a copy of No-Prep Slow Cooker and don’t forget to get one for your friends (it is the holiday season after all!).

How big of a slow cooker are you using? Iโm wondering if I can double it in a larger crock pot.
The Chunky Chef says
I normally use a 4 quart slow cooker for this recipe, and it could easily be doubled in a 6 or 7 quart slow cooker ๐
