Fresh, summery, and tasty! ย This strawberry jalapeno and pineapple salsa is perfect with crisp tortilla chips, or as a topper for some grilled chicken.
Aren’t you just loving the fresh summer produce? ย We sure are… especially the strawberries! ย For this salsa I combined the sweet strawberries, spicy jalapenos, and the sweet tropical pineapples… and man oh man… you won’t want to stop eating it!
I can’t evenย beginย to tell you how delicious this salsa is! ย I wish I could just pass you a bowl ๐ ย All the flavors really come together! ย There’s really no step by step pictures here, because you’ll just be chopping up the ingredients ๐
The next time you’re having a party, you should make this salsa… people will be raving about it all night long, plus it’s unique! ย I’d take it to a party, but I get greedy with my salsa, I don’t want to share lol. ย I’ve made a small version of this just for an afternoon snack for myself…. shhhhh, don’t tell anyoneย ๐
This is great on some crispy tortilla chips (or even with a spoon), but it really shines when it’s made to go with a protein. ย Having some fish tacos? ย Top them with this salsa! ย Grilling up some chicken or pork? ย Top them with this salsa!
You can customize these ingredients and switch up the fruits if you’d like… mango, cantaloupe, oranges… they can all be switched out for the pineapple. ย I would keep the strawberries and jalapeno though, they really go SO well together!
I left the seeds out of my salsa, because I wanted this to be family friendly, but if you like it hot, by all means, leave them in ๐

I found this recipe over at Try a Bite Tuesday link party. Surprise! A fellow FBC FB blogger! I’m liking the idea of strawberries and peppers together with pineapple for a bit of tangy interface. Yum!! This looks like a recipe our ripe peppers and strawberries are going into! Just need to go get the pineapple ๐
The Chunky Chef says
I knew I recognized the name and blog name, hi Diane! ๐ That’s awesome you have home-grown strawberries and peppers! I’ve even made it without the pineapple and it’s still yummy! But I do love that tang from the pineapple ๐

This looks fantastic. Pinning for later when my jalapenos are ready to pick from my garden. Too hot for me but my husband will love it! Oh and great pics btw!
The Chunky Chef says
Thanks so much Sonja! If I’m making this just for me, I usually decrease the amount of jalapenos ๐
